Research Assistant I/II in the Centre for Psycho-oncology Research & Teaching and the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.:515404) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, social sciences, sport science or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good problem-solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of basic statistics. They should be a self-motivated and organized team player. Experience in research and using SPSS for data analysis is highly preferred. A keen interest in psycho-oncology research would be an advantage.

The appointee will work closely with HKU Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care on an implementation study. He/She will recruit participants in the clinical setting, manage datasets, analyse data, and oversee the study progress. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Wendy Lam at
