Clerk II (holding the functional title of Project Assistant) in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 515787) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in word processing, good IT knowledge, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. They should be organized, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as a team. Experience in HR and/or financial administration in the tertiary education sector is desirable.
The appointee will perform a full range of administrative duties in a busy research team. He/She will (i) handle HR and finance matters (e.g. preparation of contract documents, research grants budget control and accounting); (ii) provide clerical support (e.g. data entry); (iii) attend to visitors; (iv) assist in event organisation; and (iv) perform other duties as assigned.
