Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Centre for Safe Medication Practice and Research, Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 517255), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in public health, biostatistics, health economics, data science or a related field. They should have excellent quantitative and analytic skills with knowledge in pharmacoepidemiology and/or pharmacoeconomics. Applicant should be detail-oriented with strong communication and writing skills, and have the ability to work independently and in a team. Experience with the management of large data sets and complex analyses using R, SAS or other statistical tools will be an advantage.
The appointee will have the opportunity to work on impactful pharmacoepidemiology and/or pharmacoeconomics projects, including cost-effectiveness analyses, burden of disease, and discrete choice experiments. Training opportunities will be provided for advanced methods on pharmacoepidemiology and/or pharmacoeconomics in areas including cardiology, psychiatry, oncology and infectious diseases.
