IT Officer in the Information Technology Services (ITS) (Ref.: 517394) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary; or on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline; a good command of written and spoken English; and good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. They should also have good knowledge of and relevant experience in SOME of the following areas:
- hands-on development experience and proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Discoverer, BI publisher, OTBI, BIP, OA Framework and UNIX Shell scripts;
- functional knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 (General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Asset), iExpenses, and eProcurement (Cloud);
- software development lifecycle and methodologies
The appointees will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Oracle e-Business Suite, iExpenses, eProcurement system, user requirements collection and analysis, system design, and liaising with administrative offices and department users in the University.
