Research Assistant I/II in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 517450) (to commence as soon as possible for one year with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English; good interpersonal and communication skills; a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; and a hard-working attitude.  Preference will be given to those with experience in deep neural networks, computer vision, mixed reality, 3D virtual modeling or 3D software design & development.  Those with less experience may be appointed as Research Assistant II.

The appointee will work collaboratively with surgeons and engineers in computer-assisted surgery and medical 3D printing.  Fresh graduates with less experience but having an interest in these fields are also welcome.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Winnie W.S.
