Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 518930), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in cancer / cell metabolism/ cancer immunology with research experience in cancer bioinformatics and cancer metabolism. Working knowledge of R and/or Python is mandatory. Experience with mouse models, molecular biology and flow cytometry is preferred. Applicants should have an excellent command of written and spoken English, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently and in a team, and multi-task with good attention to details.
The appointee will conduct research on the link between metabolic reprogramming and immune evasion in solid cancer. Enquiries of about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Heidi Ling at gsling@hku.hk.
