Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences (PHLS), School of Public Health (Ref.: 518951), to commence as soon as possible for one or two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or a doctoral degree by research in microbiology, bioinformatics, public health or related disciplines. They should be a self-motivated team player with critical thinking skills. Experience in NGS data analysis, molecular biology techniques, and/or handling microbial pathogens at biosafety level 2 (BSL2) would be an advantage. The appointee will join a multidisciplinary research team to study influenza and other respiratory viruses. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. H.L.
