Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences, School of Public Health (Ref.: 519098), to commence as soon as possible for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Virology or related disciplines, preferably with experience in virological surveillance. They should have solid knowledge of virology or molecular biology and an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Preference will be given to those with experience in next generation sequencing and microbial evolution analysis. Knowledge of programming languages (preferably R) is a plus.
