Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Project Executive/Project Assistant) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 519794) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree, preferably with 1-2 years’ work experience. They should be versatile in general office administration and project management. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadline; and competence in performing administrative duties ad collaborating with different stakeholders. The should be attentive to details, self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Those with less experience and/or lower qualification may be appointed as Research Assistant II. Shortlisted candidates might be invited to attend a written test and an interview. 

The appointee will participate in the coordination of research projects on global health protection and personalized medicine. He/She will provide general administrative and secretarial support to the research team on a wide range of matters. He/She will liaise with multiple external service vendors and internal stakeholders (e.g. finance, human resources, public relations), provide executive support to the Principal Investigators, and perform other duties as assigned.
