Research Assistant (I/II) / Technical Officer in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences, School of Public Health (Ref.: 519971) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor degree in Biological /Medical Sciences or related disciplines, with at least 1 year of relevant work experience; or a relevant postgraduate degree. Prior experience in molecular biology, pathogen handling, or laboratory animal handling will be an advantage. The appointee will work in an influenza research group. Candidate with extensive relevant experience will be considered as a Technical Officer. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
