IT Officer in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 520050) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or related disciplines. They should have (i) at least 3 years’ work experience as a programmer; (ii) proficiency in PHP; and (iii) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. They should be a fast-learner, hard-working, and able to work well with the dynamic teaching and research teams in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of SharePoint would be an advantage.
The appointee will join the General Office; design, develop and maintain database systems; assist in the development of new IT projects; and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
