Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 520142), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences or a related discipline. They should have strong background and research experience in at least one of the following areas: (1) chemical biology; (2) cancer biology; (3) chemical synthesis; (4) mass spectrometry. They should be self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those with expertise in proteomics, cancer cell biology and medicinal chemistry.
The appointee will work on interdisciplinary projects related to the discovery of new druggable hotspots in cancers and the development of new lead compounds targeting these hotspots for therapy.
