Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 522486), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Sciences, Statistics or other related disciplines. They should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those with a track record of conducting big data analyses and producing high-quality publications. Experience in planning and implementing observational studies would be highly desirable.
The appointee will work under the supervision of Dr Patsy Chau on research projects related to health impacts from extreme weather. The duties include but not limit to conducting literature review and assisting in research proposal and academic paper writing, data analysis and management, project coordination and research dissemination.
