Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Applied Oral Sciences & Community Dental Care, Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 522936), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Science or a related discipline. Proficiency in English, along with strong and collaborative communication skills is a must. The applicant should have high motivation and strong interest in tissue regeneration. Knowledge of and experience in animal study, biomaterial development, and soft electronics would be advantageous. A track record of publishing in top international journals is highly desirable.
The appointee will conduct a basic science and translational research project related to the development of implantable devices for tissue regeneration. This study is a collaborative project, involving the University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and City University of Hong Kong, supported by the Collaborative Research Fund from Research Grants Council.
