Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant I/II (Ref.: 523537) in the Department of Psychology to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Qualified candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or other related disciplines. Essential skills include excellent command of spoken and written Chinese (including Cantonese) and English, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work both collaboratively and independently. Candidates should be highly motivated, capable of multitasking, and able to coordinate research projects independently. Prior experience in clinical research and coordinating randomized controlled trials is considered a significant advantage. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Research Assistant II position.

The selected candidate will work on a research project focused on youth sleep and mental health intervention, as well as a longitudinal investigation on cognitive performance and mental health outcomes. Key responsibilities for the appointee include coordinating data collection activities, conducting assessments, managing research participants, liaising with external parties, and other duties as assigned by the investigators. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally.
