Executive Officer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 522579) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year/three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years’ work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should have an excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills; as well as a good level of IT knowledge. Applicants should also be competent communicators with the ability to work independently and good team players with the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and be attentive to details. Applicants with supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership ability is highly preferred.

The appointee will oversee and administer the management work in relation to taught-master degree programmes administration, finance management and perform administrative duties in daily office operation and ad hoc/non-routine tasks as required. He/She is expected to lead a small team of clerical staff to provide quality service. Work outside normal office hours may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
