Research Assistant I/II in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 526945) (to commence as soon as possible for one year on temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a master’s degree in public health, nutrition, statistics or other related fields in life/medical sciences. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; and proficiency in statistical software and data management tools (eg. R). They should be logical, attentive to details, self-motivated, able to multi-task and work in a team. Previous experience in epidemiology research would be preferred.
The appointee will be working on a research project on the risk of non-communicable diseases, relevant to adverse exposures during infancy and childhood. He/She will assist on the logistics of biological samples and data analysis, and perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
