Clerical Assistant (Residential) in the Lady Ho Tung Hall (Ref.: 530548) (to commence as soon as possible, on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.)
Applicants should possess a higher diploma or above, with at least 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE, including English Language and Chinese Language. Preferably, applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant experience. They should have experience in office management and operations and be able to work independently. Applicants should also possess a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage); solid knowledge and skills in the area of computer, communication and customer service; and a strong sense of responsibility. Those with copywriting skills in both English and Chinese, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks with experience in working with students are highly desirable.
The appointee will provide comprehensive clerical support to the office, including office administration, counter services. They will liaise and coordinate the logistics arrangements of residences’ activities, provide administrative support (including servicing committees and any work related to projects) to the hall management team and student groups, and undertake any other duties as assigned by the Wardens/supervisor. They will be required to work irregular hours, at nighttime and/or during weekends, perform on-call duties on a need basis, and live in a post-tied quarter provided by the student residences.
