Clerk II / Clerical Assistant in the HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science (Ref.: 530617) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

 

Applicants should have completed F.5 or above, preferably 5 passes in HKCEE including English (minimum grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), OR minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; willingness to learn, good interpersonal skills; self-motivation, and be detail-minded with a strong sense of responsibility.

 

The appointee will provide comprehensive clerical, administrative and office support, including receptionist duties, office maintenance and facilities management handling, financial and clerical matters supporting. He/She will be required to coordinate events and seminars, provide secretarial support to the Assistant Director (Administration), as well as performing any other duties as assigned by the Institute. 

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Candidates with less experience/ qualifications will be considered for the position of Clerical Assistant. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and interview.
