Executive Officer in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530653) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 4-5 years’ full-time work experience in either event and conference management, Undergraduate (UG) / Research Postgraduate (RPg) course administration, or human resources. Previous working experience in a tertiary institution will be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese); good organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and be able to work independently and under pressure. They should be good team players with the ability to multitask and be attentive to details.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the Faculty’s six Academic Areas, in particular event and conference organisation and teaching and learning activities. He/She will also provide secretarial support to committees, and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
