Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 531145) (to commence as soon as possible for one-year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, Social Sciences, Social Work, or a related discipline, preferably with at least one year’s post-qualification work experience in research projects. They must have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluent Cantonese), good communication skills, and the ability to multitask and work collaboratively and independently.

The appointee will be responsible for administrating questionnaires and experiments, assisting in conducting assessments/clinical interviews; liaising with schools, NGOs and participants in clinical settings for scheduling assessments/interventions, literature review; preparation of presentations, manuals and study materials; data management and analysis, preparation of project reports; and other research-related duties as assigned by the investigators. The appointee will assist in sleep-related research projects with a focus on the SEN populations, including two clinical trials on sleep interventions for young people with comorbid ASD/ADHD and sleep problems and their families. Abilities to use SPSS, Excel, Access and reference manager are preferable.
