Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant I/II/Student Research Assistant in the Department of Geography (Ref.: 531177)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install and calibrate sensors on trucks to ensure proper functioning
  • Collect traffic data at designated intersections
  • Work during early mornings or late nights as required by project needs.
  • Promptly record and communicate any issues encountered during on-site work

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student in Electronics Engineering, Geospatial Science, Transportation, Data Science or related field is preferred
  • Be able to work outdoors and perform moderate manual labour
  • Be able to adapt to flexible work schedules
  • Good hands-on skills and a proactive, independent work ethic

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible as a part-time RA on a temporary three-month basis (Please note that full-time roles are offered on a yearly basis). Renewal is considered based on performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
