Project Officer (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531608) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least five year’s full-time experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), good computer skills in management of research databases using Microsoft access and excel, familiar with pathology and disease terms as well as laboratory and electronic health record databases, good communication skills, excellent teamwork, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to multitask and to work independently under pressure. They should be organized, efficient, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative to assist teammates.

The appointee will assist a multidisciplinary research team to provide support in clinico-pathological database management, data extraction/entry and documentation, statistical analysis, coordination of study, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
