Applications are invited for appointment to the post of Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:531664) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences related discipline with three years’ post-qualification experience or a Master’s degree in the above fields with one year’s post-qualification experience. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), strong analytical skills, experience conducting various quantitative and qualitative data analyses, and the ability to work independently and as a team. Knowledge and experience in using mixed research methods are highly preferred. The appointee will work on research projects related to organizational study, mental health and community, assisting the PI to conduct literature review independently, perform data collection from different resources, carry out data analysis, assist in writing reports, and manage day-to-day administration duties. He/She will have ample opportunities to work with social workers, multidisciplinary professionals, and other stakeholders in the local community.
