Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 531677) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of solid administrative experience at supervisory level, preferably in higher education or a related sector. They should demonstrate an excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), along with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Candidates should be able to work independently under tight deadlines, have a suitable level of IT proficiency, and be quick learners capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently. Attention to detail, accuracy and leadership abilities are also essential.

The appointee will provide comprehensive administrative support in human resources and finance-related areas, including recruitment, appointments, committee work, resource allocation, monitoring of financial processes, and perform any other duties as assigned. Leading a small team of clerical staff to deliver high-quality service is expected. Occasional work outside normal office hours may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
