Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Education (Ref: 534507)
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join the Faculty of Education to provide administrative support to the Technology and Infrastructure Development Office.
The Role
The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the Technology and Infrastructure Development Office; coordinate facilities maintenance with the Estates Office and service providers; assist in office relocations and renovation projects; provide logistical support for Faculty events; assist in supervising a team of Office Assistants and Cleaners; and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. Fresh graduates with good academic background or non-degree holders with substantial relevant work experience may also be considered. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); good organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; and hands-on experience in English and Chinese word processing and PC applications (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). They should also be good team players who are self-motivated, attentive to details, and capable of working independently.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
