Executive Officer in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref:534573) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years’ of administrative work experience in tertiary education institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua, and be proficient in English and Chinese word processing, as well as Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Windows. Additionally, they should demonstrate excellent organisational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a strong sense of responsibility. Applicants should be able to multitask, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, self-motivated, and attention to details while meeting tight deadlines.
The appointee will gain extensive experience across a wide range of administrative functions within the School. Key responsibilities include assisting with academic programmes, managing day-to-day office operations, supporting research administration, organising events, offering secretarial support to committees, and performing other duties as required.
