Executive Assistant in the Faculty of Science (Ref.: 534596)

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Faculty Office to provide support to the administration of our postgraduate programmes and research activities.

The Role

The appointee will be responsible for a mix of administrative and coordination work, including:

  • Supporting postgraduate programmes – handling admissions and examinations;
  • Assisting with research administration – helping with grant applications and related processes;
  • Managing enquiries and operations – liaising with students, Faculty members, and external parties while keeping records organized; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • A Bachelor’s degree;
  • Preferably 1-2 years' work experience;
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply; on-the-job training will be provided;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Strong organizational skills, good IT proficiency, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and self-motivation;
  • A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
