Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534658) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemical or a related discipline, and have at least three years of laboratory experience with strong practical skills in microbiology. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in handling viruses, performing cell culture, and using basic molecular biology tools. They should demonstrate an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should be self‑motivated, diligent, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
The appointee will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on meaningful research projects, with scope for skill development and professional growth, and will perform other duties as assigned.
