Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice, School of Public Health (Ref.: 534666) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in the fields of Public Health, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Epidemiology, or other related disciplines. They should demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, a strong sense of responsibility, good communication and interpersonal skills. They should be capable of handling multiple tasks, exercising problem-solving skills and coordinating research projects independently as well as collaborating effectively within a team. Experience in data management is essential, including the ability to design and manage electronic data capture systems (e.g. Qualtrics, REDCap). Prior experience in community-based research projects will be an advantage.

The appointees will work on the implementation of various public health surveillance and research projects and related data management duties. They will support fieldwork operations, prepare study materials, conduct data collection and data processing, manage data using Qualtrics and REDCap, prepare research summaries and reports, and perform other administrative duties as assigned. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
