Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) (several posts) in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 534793) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal).

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years’ relevant work experience. They must demonstrate strong written and spoken English and Chinese skills, excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities, solid IT proficiency, self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, and the capacity to thrive as a team player. Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment at Clerk II level, while degree holders will receive the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant.

The appointee will provide administrative support in one of the following areas:

  • Human Resources: Handling personnel matters and appointments.
  • Finance: Processing payments, purchase orders, invoices and reimbursements.
  • Knowledge Exchange and Global: Managing the School’s social media platforms; organising marketing campaigns and events.
  • Research and Innovation: Processing research grant applications and postgraduate admissions; organising symposia, seminars and visiting professor engagements.
  • Teaching and Learning: Coordinating course and examination timetables; organising academic activities and events; plus ad hoc and non-routine tasks as required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
