Analyst Programmer (at the rank of IT Technician) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 535009) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Requirements:

  • A diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines;
  • Proficiency in React / Next.js development with a solid understanding of React concepts;
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., MSSQL, MongoDB);
  • Experience in web application or software development, and knowledge of DevOps technologies, such as Git and Jenkins is an advantage;
  • Experience in coding with AI assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code);
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation and the ability to work independently;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is needed for effective communication;
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.


Job Duties:

  • Participate in the development and deployment of in-house web applications for system integration;
  • Analyze user requirements and perform system and database design;
  • Carry out system testing, data migration, documentation preparation and user training;
  • Enhance and support the existing systems;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
