Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 535062) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above with 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or a healthcare-related field. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; IT proficiency; good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently. They should also a be highly proactive and detailed-minded individual who is capable of handling multiple tasks while providing on-time responses in a fast-paced environment.
The appointee will provide a high-level of executive and secretarial support to clinical academic staff in the Department for their academic and clinical endeavours, which includes calendar management, travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, handling correspondences, coordinating visits and events, communication with internal and external parties and stakeholders. He/she will also be required to support day-to-day office operations; assist in departmental events; and perform other ad-hoc/non-routine duties as assigned.
The appointee may be required to work outside office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview.
