Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the School of Biomedical Engineering (Ref.: 536103) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basis salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE and at least 5 years’ relevant experience; OR a diploma with 4 years’ relevant experience; OR a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience in handling academic programmes, preferably with experience in finance matters. Experience in handling undergraduate programmes would be an advantage. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (in both Cantonese and Mandarin); good computer proficiency, especially in using Microsoft Office software; strong organizational and communication skills; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team; and attend to details. Applicants with less experience will be considered as Executive Assistant.

The appointees will handle academic programmes matters for the School; assist in tasks related to human resources, finance and procurement; liaise and coordinate with internal units and external units/ organizations; assist in organizing activities and events of the School; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
