Project Assistant (Digital Channels) (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Communications and Public Affairs Office (Ref.: 536348)
The Communications and Public Affairs Office (CPAO) of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) enhances HKU's reputation through branding, events, digital communications, media relations, and more. The office is also responsible for University events and ceremonies, publications, both external and internal communications, crisis management and community engagement. We are looking for talented candidates to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
As the Project Assistant (Digital Channels), you will:
- Assist in updating and managing the University's digital panels (UVision) and website, including uploading relevant content, responding to all comments and enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders;
- Support the digital panels' operation by ensuring proper functionality and coordinating with the technical team for any troubleshooting or maintenance needs;
- Collaborate with team members and other Departments to ensure a consistent brand voice and messaging across all digital platforms; and
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Digital Channels Team Lead or other supervisors to support the overall goals and objectives of the Team and the University.
Qualifications and Qualities
We are seeking a motivated individual who possesses the following skills and experience:
- A University’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Multimedia or related fields, with at least 2 years' relevant working experience;
- Strong verbal and written Chinese and English communication skills is a must;
- Detail-oriented;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team;
- Knowledge in HTML and Gen AI/ AI agent would be an advantage; and
- Immediate availability would be highly preferred (within 1 month).
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on a fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of the basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
