Clerk I (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant) (several posts) in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 537206) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, with at least 5 years’ work experience. Experience working in a tertiary institution will be preferred. Hands-on experience of providing personal assistance to senior academic staff, managing academic programs, organizing events would be an advantage. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English, with strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask and work independently under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a good team player.
The appointees will provide personal assistance to professorial staff, manage undergraduate courses, handle departmental financial matters, organize events, and perform other duties as assigned.
