Assistant Programme Officer (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Department of Politics and Public Administration (Ref.: 526413) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' post-qualification work experience in the education or business sector.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin); good communication and interpersonal skills; a good teamwork attitude; good organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and on tight schedulesÍž and IT proficiency. Those with work experience in tertiary institutions would have an advantage. 

The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support to the management of the Department and its programmes including admissions, course enrolment, timetabling, examinations, student affairs, event organization, general office administration and performing any other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours/during weekends and travels to Mainland China will be required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointee will be given the functional title of Assistant Programme Officer.
