Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 526486)

We are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant to join the Department of Physics. 

The Role

The appointee will perform administrative duties mainly related to student matters (both undergraduate and postgraduate), provide general administrative support to the Department across a variety of areas, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • A Bachelor’s degree;
  • 2 to 5 years’ secretarial or administrative experience is preferred;
  • A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); 
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills;
  • IT proficiency, with the ability to multitask; and
  • A good team player, be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ethics. 

Those with lower qualification or less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
