Clerk I/II (several posts) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526628) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above, with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience; OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience.

They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), IT proficiency as well as excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.  They should also be self-motived, a good team player, attentive to details and able to multi-task, work independently and under pressure.  A recognized diploma and/or previous work experience in tertiary institutions would be advantageous.  Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for the post of Clerk II.

The appointees will provide administrative and clerical support to undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.  They will assist in finance, HR and research management, events coordination including trainings, workshops, seminars and conferences, and perform other duties as assigned.  Working outside normal office hours may be required occasionally.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a written test.
