Research Assistant II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref: 526645) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical / Biological Sciences, or a related discipline.  Those with experience in bacterial culture and molecular biology would be an advantage.  They should have good organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and a strong sense of responsibility.  The appointee will work in a research group with a focus on microbial genomics of emerging antibiotic resistance.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
