Part-time Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530583) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in psychology, social science, biostatistics, public health, or other health-related disciplines. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. They should be detail-oriented and able to work independently and as a team. Knowledge on mental health, quantitative or qualitative skills is highly desirable. Experience in clinical research, proficiency in statistical programming (e.g. SPSS, R, and SAS) and qualitative data management (e.g. NVivo) and a keen interest in mental health research would be advantages.
The appointee will work closely with professional researchers and clinicians on studies related to perinatal psychiatry and infant mental health. He/She will assist in data collection, management, and analysis. This position would be ideal for those who wish to gain research experience and be equipped with clinical skills.
