Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Registrar / Administrative Assistant I (several posts) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 530643) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree (with honours) with at least 10 years’ team leadership experience in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization. It would be advantageous if applicants possess higher degree(s) and/or other professional qualifications. They should be competent communicators with an excellent command of English and Chinese; be self-motivated with strong strategic awareness and able to work proficiently with significant independence; and possess a high level of decision-making, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement projects of high strategic value is also required. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered as Administrative Assistant I.

The appointees will play a versatile role in leading junior executive and clerical staff to support the administration in one or more of the following areas including HR, talent acquisition, organizational development, partnership & engagement, mainland affairs, PR, fundraising and development, financial management, research administration, committee support, education programme management, student wellness and engagement, IT, campus and facility management, clinical affairs and special projects. The appointment will be made under the Faculty, and the appointee may be posted to school/department/faculty office in a rotational manner. Work outside office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. For Assistant Registrar, housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
