Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Anaesthesiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526263) (to commence as soon as possible for up to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.)   

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in healthcare-related disciplines, including but not limited to population health, epidemiology, biostatistics, social sciences or a related field. Knowledge in chronic pain, drug use, and healthy behaviors is preferred. They should have experience in quantitative analysis and statistical modelling. Applicants with less experience or lower qualifications may be appointed as Research Assistant I/II. 

The appointee’s duties include to:

  • assist the Principal Investigator in implementing research projects;
  • handle and prepare quantitative data for statistical modelling;
  • support data management and analysis;
  • prepare materials for presentations, proposal and reports; and
  • perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Appointment on 2-year fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
