Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526557) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related scientific field such as Biomedical science, Biological Sciences or equivalent, preferably with experience in clinical research. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), and excellent computer skills. Applicants should possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant II.
The appointee will administer and coordinate clinical research projects, recruit subjects, handle medical record retrieval and subject assessment, perform data entry and manage electronic databases, reconstruct radiographs, and perform other clinical duties as assigned.
