Clerk II, MSc Programme Administration (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 526659) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)  

Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above, with at least 1 to 2 years’ of full-time work experience in programme administration or a related field.  Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills; passion for working with students from all backgrounds and cultures; and computer literacy are essential The ideal candidates should also be detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task, and work well both independently and in a team, as well as under pressure.  Candidates with a bachelor’s degree would be offered the functional title of Executive Assistant.  Fresh graduates with a good academic background will also be considered. 

The appointee will support the administration and operation of the Faculty’s taught postgraduate programmes, including assisting in course arrangements such as taking attendance and Moodle management, providing support for classes and examinations, organising activities, assisting in general office administration and handling enquires.  He/She will also perform other duties as assigned.  The appointee will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus and may need to work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
