HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute, a strategic collaboration between The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), aspires to establish as a world-class hub for Environmental, Social, and Governance best practices for Hong Kong, Asia and beyond. Qualifications

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, instructional design, social science, or business. They should have a knowledge of and strong interest in ESG concepts and their relevance to the business world. Knowledge in instructional design, content creation, e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems, and other e-learning technologies are also essential.

Additionally, they should demonstrate strong communication skill especially to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders, fast-learning ability to pick up new knowledge and skills as tasks and projects require, the ability to work independently and proactively as well as being able to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Experience in project management, preferably in the e-learning industry, and possessing video production and editing skills will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

The appointee will:

  • Work with faculty members, researchers, and industry experts to create an engaging and informative Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and practices.
  • Inform and support the development of the course outline and learning materials.
  • Help manage the launch of the first iteration of the MOOC in December 2024.
  • Manage MOOC quality assurance processes, including reviewing content and providing feedback to ensure the MOOC meets our high standards of quality.
  • Conduct research on existing online courses, latest research, and industry trends related to ESG.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop course materials, including video scripts, quizzes, and reading materials.
  • Identify and evaluate potential speakers and guest lecturers for the MOOC.
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews with potential speakers and guest lecturers.
  • Support the project team during the production of course content.
  • Perform administrative and logistical tasks related to MOOC development.
  • Support in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies for our MOOC, including email campaigns, social media, and other marketing channels.
  • Monitor MOOC performance metrics, including enrollment, completion rates, and learner satisfaction, and use this data to continuously improve our MOOC.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in e-learning development and ESG to ensure the MOOC is innovative, engaging, and effective.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
