Research Assistant I/II in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 201800815) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences, Statistics, Social Work, Sociology or a related discipline, preferably with at least one year’s post-qualification work experience in research projects. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong analytical skills; and comprehensive knowledge of statistical software applications. The appointee will support a study to investigate the profile of working caregivers in Hong Kong.  He/She will be responsible for literature review; conducting survey and focus group; data analysis; preparation of presentations, manuals and reports; and other research-related duties as assigned by the investigators.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment on two-year fixed-term basis will attract contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
