Part-time Student Research Assistant in the School of Public Health (Ref: 509080) (to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should be current undergraduate or postgraduate students. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and good interpersonal and communication skills especially with the elderly. They should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. The appointee will assist in the “Hong Kong Elderly Biobank” research project. He/She will recruit participants via telephone, collect data through face-to-face interviews at community health centres across Hong Kong, and perform administrative tasks as assigned. He/She will be expected to work during daytime on weekdays for not more than 30 hours per week. Work outside normal office hours or on weekends may be required occasionally.
