Hall Executive (at the rank of Clerk II) (Several posts) (Ref.: 526478)

We are currently seeking Hall Executives to join the Centre of Development and Resources for Students in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations in our student residences.

The Role

  • Assist with the administration and operations of a cluster of residences, responsible for general office administration;
  • Handle inquiries and student matters in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate residence meetings, events and service projects;
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, handle procurement, and ensure stock availability;
  • Record income and expenses, process invoices and payments, and assist with various financial tasks;
  • Offer support to student residents by addressing their inquiries and concerns;
  • Coordinate residents’ move-ins, move-outs and room relocations.

The appointees may be deployed to various clusters of student residences based on operational needs, as determined by the Dean of Student Affairs.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Preferably a recognized University degree. Alternatively, at least Form 5 or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR a min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics;
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience;
  • A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Good organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently;
  • Attention to detail and a good team player;
  • Genuine interest in student welfare and student development;
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as MS Office Suite, knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Canva would be an advantage.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.  Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
