Part-time Student Research Assistant/Technical Assistant in the School of Public Health (Ref: 519149) (to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should be current undergraduate or postgraduate students. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and good interpersonal and communication skills especially with elderly people. They should also be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. The appointee will assist in the “Hong Kong Elderly Biobank” research project. He/She will be responsible for recruiting participants via telephone and collecting data through face-to-face interviews across territory-wide community health centres in Hong Kong, as well as performing administrative tasks as assigned. He/She will be expected to work during daytime on weekdays for not more than 30 hours per week. In rare cases, he/she may be required to work outside normal office hours/on weekends.
